    The mission of the Chinati Foundation/La Fundación Chinati is to preserve the artist and founder Donald Judd's vision as a unique museum where large-scale works of art are installed on a permanent basis to bring art, architecture, and the land together to form a coherent whole by conserving the collection and making it available to the public, while maintaining the educational programs Judd initiated.
