Explore Wonders of Nature and Art – Journey Through Time and Discovery at the Bandera Natural History and Art Museum.
We have two galleries that encourage guests to explore rare cultural artifacts from around the world, immersive animal habitat dioramas, a 1/12-scale replica Manila Galleon ship, and stunning art from the New Spain period. Outside, on our 4.5-acre public grounds, we have life-size replica dinosaurs and ice-age animals along our Dino Walk. Kids of all ages love to dig for bones and fossils in our four outdoor dig pits.

The mission of the Bandera Natural History and Art Museum is to provide educational opportunities and programs to all visitors by having them experience and learn about cultures, art objects, wildlife and prehistoric life from around the world.
